  • Osman Coskun of Milford died Sunday June 10 at home surrounded by loved ones. He was born in Turkey on February 6, 1944 and after many years serving with the U.S. State Department, he and his wife Barbara retired to Milford in 2004.  An avid history buff, he also enjoyed yard sales and auctions.  He was loved by many people at their former church Sovereign Grace Baptist Church in Virginia and Berean Community Church in Milford.  Services will be held in his home village in Turkey.
    He is survived by his wife, sons Nezahim of Denmark and Mehmet of Virginia, daughters Sehnaz and Kamuran of Turkey and Guler of Denmark. He is also survived by eight grandchildren in Turkey and Denmark.  Also surviving are two sisters, Fidan and Zeynep of Turkey, stepson Ron Padley and his wife Rosanne and children Cassy and Luke, step grandchildren Jason and Tiffanie of Virginia, Chelsie of Milford, Dylan of Georgetown and son in law Tony Fritts and Kathy of Harrington.
