Bucs pitcher David Michael pitched a no-hitter in a 4-0 win over Caesar Rodney.

Milford’s David Michael pitched a no-hitter against CR, allowing zero hits while striking out 7 for the win. CR’s Travis Dill pitched admirably, pitching a complete game while giving up only 4 runs on 6 hits.

Milford struck first scoring 2 runs in both the 1st and 2nd innings. Those 4 runs would be enough as Michael closed the door for the Bucs.

Milford’s Nick Grant led the way with 2 hits, including an RBI double in the first inning. Aside from being sharp on the mound, Michael contributed with the bat as well, singling home a run and coming around to score in the 2nd.

The win for Milford puts them at 11-4, and 9-2 in the conference. Only 3 games remain for the Bucs who are back in action on Tuesday afternoon at Woodbridge. Milford will travel to Delmar on Thursday and finish up the season at home against Red Lion on Saturday.
