  • Marceil E. Morgan, of Lincoln, passed away at home surrounded by her loving family. She was 94.
    Mrs. Morgan was born the daughter of the late John Howard and Minnie Elise (Hall) Lyons. She worked as a postal clerk for the US Government for 20 years retiring in 1987.
    Mrs. Morgan was a member of the Lincoln United Methodist Church and was also a homemaker who loved to keep her home and property neat and clean. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mrs. Morgan also enjoyed singing and playing the piano.
    In addition to both parents she was preceded in death by her husband William B. Morgan Jr. in 1989 and by 3 brothers Hall, John, and Luther Lyons.
    She is survived by 2 sons and their wives, William H Morgan and his wife Barbara of Lincoln and Ronald J. Morgan and his wife Debbie Reed Morgan of Smyrna, 3 grandchildren Wayne Morgan, Ronald William Morgan, and Suzanne Warren, 2 step-grandchildren Denise Williams and Jerry Williams, 3 great-grandchildren Cara Warren, Spencer Warren, and Gabrielle Morgan, and step-great-grandchild Colin Sprinkle, and her loving caretaker Charlotte Pierre.
    A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. February 2, 2012 in the chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Home 119 N.W. Front St. Milford where friends may call after 11 a.m. Interment will be in Lincoln Cemetery. Flowers are accepted or donations can be made to Compassionate Care Hospice 28467 Dupont Blvd. Suite 6 Millsboro DE 19966.
