The Harrington Parks and Recreation Department would like to thank all who contributed their time and effort for another successful event.
Over the past year, we worked hard to put together another fine event for our community and visitors as well.  Not only was the event well received but many first time attendees were surprised at the variety of activities on this day.  This could only be accomplished with the cooperation of our sponsors and the efforts of many volunteers from the community and outlying areas.

The Wilmington Trust Parking lot was full of antique cars and hot rods, compliments of the Lower Delaware Mustang Club, Southern Delaware Street Rods and private individuals.  The First State Tractor Club and the Eastern Shore Chapter ATCA adorned Commerce Street with a fine exhibit for all to see and enjoy!

The Harrington Fire Company opened their doors again for tours of the building, hosting the 2nd Annual Train Show, our first Police Department versus Fire Company Tug of War and serving their always delicious chicken dinners.
The Harrington Parks and Recreation staff would like to extend our sincere thanks to  Mayor Price and Council, all the City of Harrington Departments and the Harrington Fire Company for their much needed assistance with Heritage Day 2010.
