Lunch Menu week of March 2:

Monday: spaghetti, meat sauce, cooked greens, wheat bread, apple

Tuesday: beef barley soup, chicken salad, bed of lettuce, tomato wedges, roll, mandarin oranges

Wednesday: baked chicken, brown rice, gravy, Harvard beets, orange

Thursday: liver & onions, mashed potatoes, gravy, green peas, vanilla pudding

Friday: honey mustard chicken, macaroni and cheese, broccoli, wheat bread, banana

Call 422-5750 by noon the day before to make reservations. The Division of Aging has suggested donations of $3 from all members and spouses aged 60 and older. Members and spouses under 60 are requested to pay $6 per lunch. Menu is subject to change. Sponsored by the Modern Maturity Center, Inc., of Dover.

Things to see:

Cherry Blossom Cruise Aboard the Spirit, Washington, D.C., April 2, Price-$89 per person. Luncheon cruise upon the Potomac River, in view of the famous cherry blossoms aboard the “Spirit”. Price includes motor coach, buffet, cruise and driver’s tip.

Atlantic City’s Showboat, Atlantic City, NJ, March 2, Price-$7. Depart from Center at 7 a.m. on a Jor-Lin bus (price includes driver gratuity); you will receive $5 in coins, make sure you bring your rewards card. Someone on the bus will win $100 cash with a drawing done on the bus. Return to Center at 7:15 p.m.

Philadelphia Flower Show, March 2, Price-$44 (checks made out to Milford Garden Club). Leave from Parks and Rec. at noon and return at 7:30 p.m. Please contact Evelyn Portz directly, if interested, at 422-4903. You will have to pay Evelyn directly, not the Center.
