The Milford Rotary Club asks you to help by being a sponsor or buying a ticket to our “Evening of Friendship,” the Club’s 2009 Fundraising event. 200 people are expected to attend the event, which will be held Saturday Jan. 31, at the Shawnee Country Club, beginning at 7 p.m.

The event will include complimentary beverage, hors d’oeuvres, cash bar, and door prizes. Music will be provided by Ed Snyder and the Swing Notables. A signed print of an original painting by Shawn Faust will be raffled off.

Sponsorships are $250, $500, $1,000 and $2,500. Each sponsor receives several tickets to the event and specific recognition in the event program.

Tickets are $50 each or two for $90 (partial tax deduction). Tickets are on sale at the Marvel Agency (422-9626), Lou’s Bootery and Select Financial (424-7777). You may also contact Robin Sirkis (424-1643) or any other Rotarian for tickets.

This year is very special because we are honoring two distinguished citizens who have contributed significantly to the education of our children. Dr. Robert Smith, Milford School District Superintendent, and Dr. Gary Annett, the Director of Personnel, both of whom are retiring this year.

The funds raised will benefit the Milford School District’s departments of Music and Science.
