Officer Timothy Webb suffered non-life threatening injuries when a 2007 Police Crown Victoria he was operating left the roadway on Kings Highway in Milford and collided with a utility pole.


Officer Timothy Webb suffered non-life threatening injuries when a 2007 Police Crown Victoria he was operating left the roadway on Kings Highway in Milford and collided with a utility pole.

The accident occurred at about 12:15 a.m. on Dec. 25.

Webb was responding to assist a Delaware State Police Officer whom had reported a possible sighting of a suspect involved in a high speed chase with Milford Police earlier in the evening.

Milford Police had terminated the pursuit of the vehicle which was reportedly stolen in New Castle County.

Officers were continuing to look for the vehicle and  operator when the DSP officer reported a possible sighting.

Webb was treated and released at Bayhealth Milford Memorial Hospital.

He is currently on leave due to his injuries. The traffic accident is still under investigation by the Milford Police Department’s Accident Investigation Team.

About $7,500 worth of damage was done to the vehicle.
