High winds have disrupted power and traffic across Milford all afternoon, beginning with a city-wide power outage at 12:30 p.m. caused by downed power lines.
Power was restored by 1:30 p.m., but power l ines have continued to go down across Sussex County, resulting in rolling outages across the area. Traffic lights continued to go on and off throughout the day
Other wind-related amage includes downed road and business signs, and debris like roof shingles being blown into roadways. Airport Road was temporarily closed due to danger from flying objects to motorists.
