Lulu M. Ross school collecting Campbell’s Labels
To kick off this year’s label collection drive, Lulu Ross Elementary School is asking parents, teachers, friends in the community to collect product labels that can be redeemed for free educational merchandise. You can help us to earn things such as computers, audio/visual equipment, sports equipment, reference books and musical instruments simply by collecting labels and sending them into the Lulu Ross Elementary School. We ask that you simply turn in the whole label and we will clip them for the school.
This year our goal is to collect at least 15,000 labels. You can view a full list of participating products at www.LabelsForEducation.com. For more information on how to be a part of Lulu Ross Elementary School’s Label collection drive, call the school’s coordinator Alice Metzner at 422-6958. The 2008-2009 Label program runs until June 1, 2009. Our school is also collecting Box Tops for Education. These can be found on General Mills cereal, Pillsbury items. A full list of eligible products can be viewed at www.boxtop4education.com. Each box top is worth 10 cents, which goes directly toward things for our students.
Milford High School Class of 1989
The Milford High School Class of 1989 will be celebrating the passing of 20 years since our graduation. We would like to plan a fun, memory filled event, but we need your help. Please contact Dan Kimmel at 430-0410 or Stacy (Kohel) Greenly-Teat at 422-2629 if you are interested in helping to plan our reunion. We are hoping for a local event that would include dinner and perhaps our favorite homecoming and prom entertainers, Mike Hines and The Look. We need suggestions, too, on a date for our fun-filled event. If there are any MHS teachers out there who would like to be featured in a “guess that teacher” game show, please contact us as well. You may get a free dinner out of it!
