Beverly Anne Graham of Milford, passed away peacefully by complications following surgery into the hands of Jesus on Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2008 in Milford Memorial Hospital, surrounded by her family and some friends.  She was 53 years old.


Beverly Anne Graham of Milford, passed away peacefully by complications following surgery into the hands of Jesus on Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2008 in Milford Memorial Hospital, surrounded by her family and some friends.  She was 53 years old.

Beverly Anne was one of God’s special children who overcame some mental and physical disabilities with her determination and will. Beverly Anne graduated from the Howard T. Ennis School in Georgetown. Afterwards, she participated in several programs at the Kent & Sussex Industries (KSI) in Milford. Through a program of KSI, she served as a volunteer at the Milford Memorial Hospital cafeteria for about eight years. After sustaining an injury from a fall, she resided with her parents. Two special caregivers, Gladys Sammons and Angelina (Litsa) Goldsmith, helped to provide Beverly Anne with a happy and productive life.

She was a member of Slaughter Neck U.M. Church, and the United Methodist Women.

She is survived by her parents, Robert and Ethel Graham of Milford; a brother, Steven Graham and his wife Kathy of Newark with children; Jennifer Rodysill and husband Mick with his daughter, Lydia; Catherine Garcia and her husband Daniel, with great nieces, Daniela and Jessenia, Brian and Tracy; a sister, Carol Shockley and her husband Joseph of Milton, with children Scott and Amy; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and numerous friends.

Services to honor her life were held Monday, Dec. 22, at Slaughter Neck U.M. Church, Milford. Interment will be in Slaughter Neck Cemetery.
